Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about me!

I am a Philadelphia native who attended The College of William and Mary and graduated with a degree in Computer Science. During my time at W&M, I had the great fortune of meeting my heart's desire and fellow swimmer, Ed McLeod, and we have been married since 1983, raising two practically perfect children. (Parents are allowed to say that!) Ed just retired as the senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh after serving three different churches in South Carolina. Our son Randall and his wife Luci are Davidson graduates working in the Washington, D.C. area and raising three fabulous children, Bruce, Beau, and Lowell. And our daughter, Amy, is an Elon graduate, a Raleigh native, and my favorite business partner. She's married to another REALTOR®, Russell Clark, and they have a beautiful baby girl, Julianne.

Right after college, I worked for four years as a computer programmer and systems analyst in Richmond, VA. I had the privilege of staying home for about 10 years with our two children and then I began by career in real estate. I spent 7 years working directly with clients and then transitioned into the role of Broker-in-Charge of the North Hills office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices York Simpson Underwood Realty. It was a joy to train and supervise agents as they assisted their clients. But after 13 years of managing other agents, I felt it was time to get back to working directly with my own clients and was delighted when my daughter Amy decided to join me. She brings a wealth of marketing, client expertise, and joy with her and we are having a lot of fun helping wonderful people with their real estate needs.

During my free time, I enjoy reading, sewing, walking, and beach time!
