About Amy

My love of real estate was first sparked when my family moved from Sumter, SC to Raleigh in the summer of 2004. In the months leading up to our move, teenage-Amy spent hours hunting through the primitive real estate websites, hunting for the perfect home. 

After our move, I attended from Broughton High School and went on to attend Elon University. I graduated with a degree in Journalism and quickly joined a strategic communications agency in downtown Raleigh. I loved this work, particularly the client relations component. After about 6 years at this agency, I was ready for a career change and the timing couldn't have been better. My mom, who had been a real estate professional for 20+ years, was ready to shift from management back into sales and we decided to team up.

We've been at this now for about 6 years and we are having a blast. A move almost always represents a larger life change — a marriage, a divorce, a new baby, an empty nest, a job transition, a retirement, the list goes on. We're honored to be invited by our clients to be part of these seasons of life and we work really hard to make the real estate component as easy and stress-free and fun as possible. 

Being part of a mother-daughter team has been a real treat. We bring different skill sets and perspectives to our work, all of which benefit our clients. When not actively working, you can find me spending time with two of our auxiliary team members, my husband Russell and 3-year-old Julianne. We are active in our church, love taking trips to the beach, and enjoy spending time with extended family and friends.
